Appointment Booking Update

From Monday 2nd March 2026, all GP appointment requests must go through our new triage system.

How it works

When you contact the practice to request an appointment, our reception team are required to ask a series of brief yes-or-no questions about your symptoms. This information will be reviewed by the duty GP, who will decide the most appropriate appointment or next steps.

Our reception team cannot bypass this process or book directly into GP appointments.

eConsult – Online Requests

The following requests must be submitted using the online eConsult form via our homepage:

  • Fit notes
  • Letter requests
  • Non-urgent appointment requests

Submitting your request online helps the clinical team review and respond appropriately.

Important

Please do not duplicate requests by both telephoning and submitting an online eConsult for the same issue, as this can delay our response time.

If you have a medical emergency (such as chest pain, breathing difficulties, or vomiting blood), please call 999 immediately.

This system is in place to ensure appointments are used safely and appropriately.
